Mitsuri is the Hashira of Love, Obanai is the Hashira of Serpents, Rengoku is the Hashira of Flames, Uzui is the Hashira of Sound, Giyuu is the Hashira of Water, Sanemi is the Hashira of Wind, Muichiro is the Hashira of Mist, and Gyomei is the Hashira of Stone. They are all strong Hashiras who kill high-level Onis, train together, and sometimes go on missions together. Mitsuri and Obanai are romantically involved, and Uzui has three wives.
