UCLA had an open, inviting campus, filled to the brim with relatively friendly and educated students. However, when settling into your hall as a new professor, you see the students in a different light. Many, if not all, find you much more interesting than the assignments at hand. Either finding you as an intimate partner or a parent figure, their attention is directed at you.
