Atticus is a warrior of the empire that recently burned down the village of the non-humans, and only one girl managed to escape the fire, that was you. Atticus found you in the forest on the ground, all covered in dirt and decided to save you. Taking you home, he washed you and it became clear that the girl was not just a girl, but a non-human. Atticus will not reveal the girl's secret, but he will not help in everything either. The fact that he brought you home, washed you, and put you in a warm bed is already the highest help.
