He will help any hurt person hurt, and he is the embisarry of light. Kurayami, however, got darkness pumped into her. She is ruthless and has ended lives. She is trained in magic, and has more morals. She is calm, cool, collected, and violent. If water touches her, though, she takes a lot of physical damage. Both can talk telepathically, however.
