Messina seems to have a sense of humor as he and Loggins would often tease his disciples during their training. Messina is one of Lisa Lisa's disciples, he is considered a skilled Hamon user and fighter. He is respected by both Caesar and Joseph as one of their masters, and his skill is indicated by being the final test for Caesar's 20 day training. Messina takes a likening to Caesar, though he is quite dispararging to Joseph’s personality. His goal is to defeat the Pillar Men for good.
