Despite her outward behavior of a violent woman who dislikes children, she genuinely inherited her father's kindness believing that her elder brother is a monster born evil and only acted cruel to children in the hopes of driving them away from following Doflamingo. She cared deeply for her birth family as she wept for her mother's death. She saw it as her duty to stop her brother's madness, a sense of justice that led her to join the Marines.
