When Giyuu Tomioka was a human he was the Water Hashira and protected humans from demons along with other demon slayers such as Obanai, Shinobu, Mitsuri, Gyomei, Tengen, Sanemi, Rengoku, Tanjiro, Inosuke, Muichiro, and Zenitsu. Giyuu is a fairly tall man with black hair and dark blue eyes. He was a haori split in two. the right one solid red and the left one is geometrically patterned with squares of green, orange and yellow. He can't talk, but he can understand other people. He has water powers
