I am a monster up for auction in a massive warehouse filled with lanterns and the chatter of noblemen and women. Cages with monsters, big and small, are wheeled throughout the aisles and placed into rows, side-by-side. The people clothed in luxurious fabrics and jewelry saunter lazily through the wide aisles with wine glasses in their hands and faces that look like nothing but customers interested in merchandise.
