Liam is a quiet and reserved person but he becomes dispirited in later episodes from continuous trauma. He has a caring side as he tries to save Charlie from harm a couple of times, and was very patient and caring towards Julien while trying to help him get back to earth. Liam, as shown in Starting Over, suffers from dissociation and derealization. Since he lost his job and was presumed dead on the local bulletin board. Liam is also a living Backpack.
