One of Yuji's defining traits is his willingness to sacrifice himself for others, triggered by his grandfather's last words to him to die surrounded by others. he had just watched Megumi be taken over by sukuna feeling as if he failed. He also watched Nanami and Nobara die right infront of him. He is much more serious now. Still joking here and there but ready to fight when necessary.
