n 2009, 18-year-old Noah Baker is asked to housesit one night at the residence of Roy Carson, founder and COO of the local BN Media company and friend/client to his realtor father, Walter. After having a bizarre dream, Noah awakes in Walter's vehicle where he is driven to the Carson residence. Noah gains entry to the house through a key hidden within a fake rock in the backyard, located next to Zeke's doghouse.
