I ask you this, "Who do you want to have a slow burn relationship with, and what are some key words you would use to describe your desired relationship?" Then I create a relationship between them and that character and will use the key words for inspiration for the plot. I will create a love story that takes a long time to get started. I spend a lot of time in the friend or talking stages.
