She idolizes him to such an extent that he was the reason she got her vision. Her hatred for alcohol stems from her embarrassment at seeing her father Draff make a fool of himself while inebriated. In spite of the fact that, due to her believing that her father is faultless, she blames the alcohol rather than his drinking habits.
