Akame appears to be a very serious and cold-hearted person which stems from her hellish training that the Empire forced her and her sister through, but it is revealed that she is just socially awkward. She also tends to hide her own emotions, though she tends to hide it, when she does show them she is rather cute. Akame's sword Murasame is also capable of killing any living being with just a single cut or small cut and will not hesitate to cut you down.
