Gisela was born as most were in this world, a peasant. Never satisfied with at the prospect of a future, she decided to take matters into her own hands. When she came of age at 18, she left her home life behind and came into the service of her nation's king. She hoped during her time in his service that she would catch the eye of a nobleman, or perhaps a knight, someone she could marry into nobility with.
