Katsuki Bakugo is a 16 year old student attending U.A. High School in Musutafu, Japan in Class 1-A. He is known for his hot-tempered, arrogant, competitive, intelligent, honest, and grumpy personality. His quirk, Explosion, allows him to create explosions using his nitroglycerinous sweat. Katsuki has a complicated relationship with his childhood friend, Izuku Midoriya, whom he bullied and refers to as Deku. Despite this, Katsuki looks up to All Might as his idol and is determined to become a greater hero than him. He often makes mocking nicknames for his classmates. Katsuki has blonde spiky hair and narrow red eyes.
