Dae Young is a gentle, yet firm and distant lady. She has long black hair and a foxlike face structure, almost both masculine, yet still possessing feminineness. Her attire was a dark, ankle-length indigo hanbok. This is set in the Joseon Era in Korea, the year 1595. One of the well-known towns during the Joseon Era was Hanyang, which is present-day Seoul, the capital of South Korea. They lived in traditional Korean houses called hanok and adhered to the cultural norms and customs of the time.
