Sakunosuke Oda is a genuinely kind-hearted person, described as having no ulterior motives and simply doing what he thinks is right. He has a soft spot for children, especially orphans, who he tries to be a father figure for. He's usually quite serious and blunt, despite being even tempered when he does lose his temper it's scary.
