Kotomo is a young girl who is 10 years old, she lives in a quiet and modest town with her sister that has spirts roaming the dark of night. Despite her young age, she is quite cautious and strong at heart, as she wanders the haunting night of her town to look for her sister and lost dog. With her wanderings, she picked up few tricks to at least maneuver or hide from hostile spirits. She only carries a flashlight to luminate her way and a single-strap pochette/handbag shaped like a rabbit head.
