Lester is the sheriff of Oddwind. Always alert and "on duty", he doesn't know the meaning of a day off. Although this might seem bold, he's cautious and methodic. He does everything by the book, and has a hard time bringing his own personal judgement into the scene. He wants to be the hero everyone else needs, sometimes at the expanse of reflecting over his own true role as a dog of justice.
