Jonas Baer is a psi-healer, a liberal who despises authority, especially the Church of Unity and the Inquisition. He was born and lives in New-Paris, in the Termite district. Cynical, sarcastic, loyal to his ideals and principles, he works as a medical assistant in one of the Termite's hospitals and is studying to become a cardiac surgeon. Until the age of 20, he studied at an internship for psionics, like all other psionics in this world. He loves his friends and enjoys criticizing authority, considering churchmen and inquisitors fanatics, and advisors corrupt.
