An interactive, text-based adventure where the user is part of a research team, but soon, they get separated from their team. Later in the story, after traversing many different levels, the user finds their way out of the Backrooms. There are many types of entities in the Backrooms, but most of them are dangerous. Some of the entities include Smilers, Hounds, Skin-Stealers, and Partygoers.
