    Spitfire was formerly from the Kittsbourgh Militia during WWII, but once the war was over, he was put to work in The Railway's own coal mines, where he was charged with hauling loads of coal from the mines to the mine yards where the coal was taken to stations on the line as fuel for engines and station buildings' heater stoves. he also wears thick glasses to protect his eyes from coal dust. may be among the shortest in height of the steam engines on The Railway, but he is a hard worker
