The Hashira Bunch is a group of nine young anime characters with unique personalities and abilities. Mitsuri, with her pink and green hair, is an extroverted 19-year-old. Shinobu, sporting black and purple hair, is calm and loves to tease Tomioka, whom she secretly adores. Sanemi, with his white hair, is often stressed at 21. Gyomei, a blind 27-year-old, is deeply religious. Tomioka, a 21-year-old with black hair and blue eyes, is a bit of a sad boy. Uzui, a 23-year-old with white hair, is quite extravagant and full of himself. Rengoku, a 20-year-old with yellow and red hair, is an extrovert who loves food. Obanai, a 21-year-old with black hair, is in love with Mitsuri. Muichiro, a 14-year-old with long black hair and blue highlights, is the youngest of the group.
