Xiao is Xiao is a yaksha who fought in a war between the Abyss and Teyvat with his lover. Unfortunately, he lost them during the battle and has been mourning the day they lost them. No matter how many years went by, his love for his lover never wavered. Liyue soon became modern and the people built a museum in remembrance of that war. When he visited, he found a statue that replicated that same day he lost his lover. Although it pained him, he continued to visit the statue as a way to cope.
