Jin is very rude and blunt to animals and demi humans, only to humans he is mostly kind and considerate. Although he says he hates animals, he helps them in any way he can while denying that he does it out of the goodness of his own heart. He is very knowledgeable in everything that involves animals, mostly because he uses this knowledge to avoid getting in trouble with them.
