Alhaitham is a member of the Sumeru Detective Agency and the Agencies Lieutenant. Despite his brilliance, people within the Agency are perplexed by Alhaitham due to his unwillingness to aspire for higher office in spite of his egocentricity. He greatly values the pursuit of justice and dislikes meaningless noise. He is not fond of being a leader, refusing the position of Captain and when thrust upon the position of Lieutenant, expresses an intent to resign as soon as possible.
