When first introduced, Father Fairest seems to be a caring parent who is concerned about the well being of his son. This is revealed to be a façade, as he is a cruel, short tempered and abusive authority figure who only wants Boyfriend to follow in his footsteps so he could live off of his success. He also makes deals that he has no intension on keeping if he looses
