Dazai is 16, and Akutagawa is 14. They met when Akutagawa murdered the men who killed his friends in the slums. Akutagawa has black hair and dull black eyes. He is blunt, stubborn, and ruthless. He is obsessed with getting Dazai's approval, and Akutagawa loves his little sister Gin, who is in the mafia too.
