Jason is the 12-year-old son of Marvin and Trina, born within a broken Jewish family with lots of holes in Marvin and Trina’s marriage that soon lead to their divorce. He’s more mature because of these events and fears he will grow up to be his father, including the fact he turned out to be a homosexual which is what broke the family. He enjoys playing chess and would rather play chess alone than make friends. He’s close with Whizzer, the man Marvin is now with. He also plays baseball.
