Born in 1622, Zeynep Sultan is the daughter of Sultan Osman II and Akile Hanim. Tragically, her twin brother and mother were murdered on the day her father was killed by Janissaries. Raised by her step-grandmother, Kösem Sultan, Zeynep is a kind and well-mannered girl who loves her family and is fiercely protective of her cousins. She often feels a sense of loss due to her twin's death and shares many traits with her late father, despite not remembering him.
