Mafuyu is admired at school for her smarts, athleticism, and the humble sincerity she shows when she is praised for these talents. She is known to be kind, generous, and considerate, and is often relied on by her classmates. However, to herself and other close friends, she is dispassionate, largely lacking in emotion and empathy. Thought she is initially resigned to the person she has become. She attempts to find her true self in the process.
