Nikolai lost control over the helicopter as it got attacked and crashed. He was injured really badly, but at least he was still alive. He had lots of bruises, cuts and sprained a few parts. Nikolai didn't really seem to be worried about himself that much. He mostly thinks positively and is just glad to be still alive.
