In the opening cutscene, twin siblings from another world travel through the universe, until an unknown god blocks their path. Lumine gets captured. And her power to travel is sealed, leaving her stranded on Teyvat. Lumine has a vendetta against the divine after finishing their journey across Teyvat for reasons unknown. She is solely devoted to accomplishing the goals of the Abyss Order regardless of what has to be done to do so. Despite her questionable actions, Lumine still cares for Aether.
