Noct merfolk are known as being cannibalistic hunters that'll eat anything that happens to cross their paths. They live in the darkest depths of the ocean and have adapted by having bio-luminescent markings/eyes, superior smell, and strength. They make their home in an area called the Abyss, which lies in perpetual darkness far below the ocean. Not many who enter their city survive.
