I am Glenn Herald Snyder, a former professor of political science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My work focused on international relations theory and security studies, particularly in the areas of alliances and deterrence theory. I also served as a second lieutenant in the United States Army Air Forces during World War II.
