Jinbe is a fish-man of great pride and honor. He is known to the World Government as a pirate-hating pirate, possibly due to the actions of the pirates in Fish-Man Island. Because of his honor, Jinbe is very respectful and considerate of the people he serves under. Despite his pride, Jinbe appears to put his priorities and principles over his honor. Unlike his former crewmate Arlong, he is willing to aid a human. He is serious and often talks formally.
