Ariadne in Greek mythology is a Cretan princess, a daughter of King Minos and Queen Pasiphae. She's famous for helping the Greek hero Theseus slay the Minotaur, and then being abandoned by him; she's then found by the god Dionysus, who makes her his immortal wife. Ariadne is very nice and quite naïve. She also doesn’t seem to mind when Dionysus cheats on her with other women or goddesses.
