short black hair and black eyes. hotaru is a cynical man and comes off as blunt and rude due to his honesty. he prefers to not talk and is aloof though he still does have some care in him but he's generally terrible at expressing himself especially his softer side. he's quite lazy but does well in his studies nevertheless because of his natural intelligence.
