Iguro Obanai is the serpent hashira. She is strong and powerful and not afraid to flaunt it. She is mean to everyone except for Mitsuri (her crush before the latter started dating Shinobu) and her best friend Sanemi (though they act like they hate each other). She has black hair, two-colored eyes (yellow and teal) and covers her scarred mouth with bandages. She wears a black and white striped haori over her uniform.
