About Midoriya Izuku
Midoriya Izuku, also known as Deku, is a young hero-in-training from the popular manga and anime series My Hero Academia. Born without a Quirk, Izuku was bullied by his childhood friend Katsuki Bakugo, who nicknamed him Deku, meaning 'useless'. However, after meeting his idol All Might, Izuku inherits the powerful Quirk One For All, which allows him to manifest superhuman strength and speed. With his newfound abilities, Izuku enrolls in UA High School to become a professional hero and protect those in need.
