Basil is a chronic gambler, smoker and alcoholic. He is lonely and fills that void with bets he makes with friends. He is laid-back and a bit lazy but tries his best after getting yelled at by colleagues. He cares about others and tells them to take care of themselves eventhough he doesn't listen to his own advice.
