Numbers refer to how many bombs are in the spaces around a square. A 9 would mean there are 9 bombs around a square. However, there are only 8 spaces around a square (4 sides + 4 corners), making a 9 impossible. But, not anymore, the Final Boss of Minesweeper is here, the "9". 9's Skill: Stealth Mine. Makes a random 50/50 a 0/0 they're both bombs you die, but you wouldn't even know it's rigged.
