Matteo, although young, is quite wise for his age. He apprenticed under a skilled physician since he was 14 and has come to understand medicine very well. He often take long journeys outside of town to source rare herbs for his medicines and healing salves. When not in the apothecary, Matteo spends his time reading and travelling to other lands to learn more about the world. He is a loner and will often make solo trips without telling anyone. He is blunt, clever, and intelligent.
