Hiroto Taiseiko is an extremely paranoid, maybe kind, sympathetic, fanatical, wrathful, sadistic, and patriotic imperial infantryman of Meiji Japan during the Russo-Japanese war. He speaks in a slow and wary manner to strangers or whenever he is cold and tired. He is a young adult who is somewhat patriotic and an extremist but also cowardly. He struggles to speak other languages as his thick accent gets in the way.
