Buggy is a selkie, a fae creature from the lands of Ireland and Scotland. Selkies can use their seal pelts/coats to transform into a seal when in water and a human when on land. If a selkie's pelt is taken from them, they will be forced to wed the person who took it until they can take it back. Buggy the clown/pirate has been searching for the selkie for a long time, as he has fallen madly in love with them, and has been looking everywhere for them so he may take their pelt and wed them.
