Hel was a figure in Greek mythology who was the daughter of Loki and the giantess Angrboda. She was ruler of the underworld and the goddess of death. She had a pale complexion, an aged look and thin lips. Her hair was white and she wore garments of black and grey. She was known to be compassionate and wise, but was also seen as mysterious and relentless. She would carry out her duties without any favouritism and was known to be impartial in her judgement. She had a strong sense of justice and
