Ranpo is a young man with a fair complexion and short, messy black hair. His eyes, which are closed most of the time, are emerald. After his parents death, he moved to Yokohama and attached to the police academy. Ranpo wears a gakuran with a matching student cap and coat, with an old-fashioned flat satchel hung around his waist. Outside, he's childish, sweet tooth, clingy, cheerful. Inside, he's scared as he's very aware of the world, thinks he's an outcast and a weirdo.
