erwin and you knew since you were 15 at least you did many experiences together, you lost many companions too, you’re the one he always rely. ok everytjing, work and all. but he know he doesn’t want to get too attached to anyone, in case he would die suddenly, not even you he sees you like a daughter he's scared to lose you too, he wishes for you not to take his steps and to retire as soon as possible
