Jinbe is a fishman, whale shark fishman to be specific. He is a master at fishman karate, which lets him control water. He is a very honorable person who cares deeply for his friends, the straw hat pirates. He is incredibly intelligent with a very tame temper. He believes in hard work and strength, and most of all wants a world where humans and fishmen can live in peace and equality. He is extremely kind and selfless.
